소방과 재난 위기 대응하는 IOT인프라 구축, 서비스
“우리 회사는 2005년 소방점검제도가 법제화되면서 안전이 생활환경의 주요 이슈로 대두됨과 더불어 산업으로 자리매김할 것을 예상하며 출범했습니다. 우리는 지난해부터 소방과 재난 분야에서 축적한 오프라인 서비스 노하우를 활용하는 가운데, IOT 인프라를 업계 최초로 구축하여 소방과 통신이 융합한 ICT 산업을 육성시켜 스마트시티의 선두주자로 자리매김하고 있습니다.”
한국유닉스에서 출시한 ICT 안전인프라의 대표적인 것이 골든타임 서비스다. 구체적인 운용방안에 대한 진영배 본부장의 설명이다.
“여수 시장 화재 발생 시 재산 피해가 컸습니다. 골든타임 감지시스템이 적용되면 무선화재감지기가 자동으로 LTE를 통해 10초 만에 음성으로 119에 상황보고를 합니다. 신속한 출동으로 화재를 조기 진압하여 피해를 최소화할 수 있습니다.”

Establishment of IOT infrastructure in response to fire and disaster crisis, service
“Our company was launched in 2005 with the expectation that safety will become a major issue in the living environment as well as becoming an industry as the fire inspection system became legalized. Since last year, we have been using the know-how of offline service in the field of fire fighting and disasters, and we are establishing the IOT infrastructure as the first in the industry and fostering the ICT industry that combines fire fighting and telecommunication to become a leader in smart city.
A representative of the ICT safety infrastructure launched by Unix in Korea is the Golden Time service. This is a description of Mr. Jin Young-bae, director of the project.
“In the event of a fire in the Yeosu market, property damage was high. When the golden time detection system is applied, the wireless fire detector automatically reports the situation to 119 via voice over LTE in 10 seconds. Rapid mobilization will minimize the damage by early suppression of the fire.”

골든타임 화재감지시스템 전통 시장 보급, 3500억 원 시장 창출 예상
한국 유닉스가 개발한 골든파임 화재감시 시스템은 경남 창녕시에 2017년 년 말부터 2018년 2월까지 약 3달에 걸쳐 시범적으로 설치되었다. 전통 시장에 화재 사고가 잦은 만큼 정부는 이 같은 골타임 화재감지시스템을 전국 전통시장에 보급할 예정이다. 진영배 본부장은 그 범위와효과에 대해 부연 설명했다.
“업계 추산 약 3만5천개의 화재감지시스템이 향후 5년동안 3,500억원의 예산을 배정하여 전국적으로 설치될 것입니다. 이 시스템을 적용하면 화재가 날 경우 먼저 방화벽이 설치됨과 동시에 데이터가 바로 소방청, 경찰, 해당 지자체로 연결되어 화재발생과 동시에 현장에 출두할 수 있습니다. 특히 LTE와 4G와 같은 초고속의 통신 인프라를 활용하면 재난에 신속하게 대비할 수 있는 것입니다.”

Golden Time Fire Detection System Traditional market spread, 350 billion won market expected
The Golden Penetration Fire Surveillance System, developed by Korea Unix, was installed in Changnyeong City, Kyongnam Province, for about three months from the end of 2017 to the end of February 2018. As a result of frequent fire accidents in traditional markets, the government intends to disseminate the Goltide fire detection system to the traditional markets throughout the country. Mr. Jin Youn-bae explained the effect to the extent.
“Industry estimates Approximately 35,000 fire detection systems will be installed nationwide with a budget of 350 billion won over the next five years. When this system is applied, if a fire occurs, first a firewall is installed and data can be directly connected to the fire department, the police, and the local governments so that the fire can occur at the same time as the fire occurs. In particular, leveraging the high-speed communications infrastructure, such as LTE and 4G, is a great way to prepare quickly for disaster.”

첨단안전진단 서비스 시스템 구축, 안전한 사회인프라 조성
한국 유닉스가 업계 최초로 이 같은 첨단기술력을 활용한 화재감지시스템을 출시한 배경은 설립 초부터 기술개발과 첨단 서비스를 구현하여 안전전문 최고 회사로 자리매김하고자 하는 진영배 본부장의 비전이 자리한다. 한국 유닉스 출범의 주역인 진영배 본부장은 2010년부터 지역별 연구소를 운영하며 다양한 신기술과 신제품을 출시했다.
“2011년 부산 센텀 연구소에서 방독면, 생존배낭, 화재감지기와 열연기감지기를 출시했습니다. 인천에서는 수도권 인구의 수요를 감안하여 칩개발 회사를 인수하여 내부 칩을 개발하고 있습니다. 이외에도 교육용 소화기를 개발하여 초등학교 학생 10만명을 대상으로 소화기 사용 교육을 하고 있습니다.”
특히 한국 유닉스가 올해 화재감지시스템 시범사업을 한 것을 계기로 향후 5년 동안 지속적으로 시스템이 전국으로 확산 보급될 것으로 기대된다. 진영배 본부장은 화재감지 시스템의 보급이 의미하는 바를 전문가적 시각에서 분석했다.
“우리는 이미 시범 사업을 했기 때문에 기술력을 우위로 전국 규모로 이 시스템을 보급할 수 있을 것으로 기대합니다. 특히 전국의 963개에 달하는 소방 점검업체가 협력업체이기 때문에 긴밀한 협력 하에 서비스의 실효성을 제고할 수 있을 것으로 기대합니다.”

Establishment of advanced safety diagnosis service system with technological capability, establishment of safe social infrastructure
Unix Korea was the first in the industry to launch fire detection systems that utilize these advanced technologies. The background of Mr. Jin Young-bae’s vision is to establish technology development and high-tech services from the very beginning to become the top safety specialist. Mr. Jin Young-bae launched a variety of new technologies and new products starting in 2010 with regional research centers.
“In 2011, Centum Research Institute in Busan released gas masks, survival backpacks, smoke detectors and smoke detectors. “We already have pilot projects, so we expect to be able to disseminate this system across the country with our technological advantage. Especially, we are expecting to be able to enhance the effectiveness of the service in close cooperation with 963 fire-fighting inspection companies nationwide.”

전자시스템으로 실시간 소방관리점검 시스템 구축해

“기본의 소방 점검은 국가 서식이 수천 페이지에 달해 점검 시 일일이 양식에 기입을 해서 프린트를 한 후 제출하는 시스템입니다. 관리기관이나 업체에서 엄청난 시간과 번거로움이 수반됩니다. 우리는 이를 전자시스템화하여 IT플랫폼에 기입하여 올리도록 만들고 있습니다. 실시간으로 점검을 해서 보고서가 작성되도록 하기 때문에 설비나 건물의 이상 유무를 바로 검사할 수 있는 스마트안전 시스템입니다.”
새로운 시대에 부합하는 스마트 관리 시스템에 대해 설명한 진영배 본부장은 그 가치에 대해 부연했다.
“제천 화재의 경우 소방법상 30일 내에 보고서를 제출하도록 되어 있는데, 일선에서 7일로 하자는 의견이 있습니다. 이를 우리 시스템으로 할 경우 실시간 점검 결과가 나올 수 있도록 설계되어 있습니다. KT의 요구는 신속하게 처리하여 정보를 공유할 수 있는 점검 플랫폼을 만들어 달라는 것입니다.”
속도가 위기 시 최대의 안전대책이 될 수 있기 때문에 한국 유닉스는 통신 인프라를 운영하는 기업들과 협력 시스템을 구축하여 안전한 재난과 위기 관리 및 대응시스템을 개발해 서비스하고 있다.

Build real-time fire control and inspection system with electronic system
Unix, Korea’s first company to build a safety inspection and crisis response system that utilizes advanced technology and services, has signed a smart safety management MOU with KT in January 2018 based on technology. Mr. Jin Young-bae emphasized the competitiveness of the advanced system related to smart safety management
“The basic firefighting inspection system is a system where thousands of pages of national forms are filled out, printed and submitted. It takes a lot of time and hassle from the management agency or the company. We are making it electronic systemized and written on the IT platform to be uploaded. It is a smart safety system that allows you to inspect facilities or buildings immediately because it allows real-time inspections and reports.”
Director Jin Young-bae explained about the value of Smart Management System in accordance with the new era.
“In case of a fire, the fire department is required to submit a report within 30 days. This system is designed so that real-time check results can be obtained. KT’s request is to create a checkout platform that can process information quickly and share information.”
Since speed can be the safest in the event of a crisis, Korea Unix builds a cooperative system with companies that operate communications infrastructure to develop and service safe disaster and crisis management and response systems.

소방점검, 소방공사 선도기업으로서 소방점검의 표준 제시
한국 유닉스의 지난 5년간 소방점검과 소방 공사를 전국 단위로 시행하며 한국 소방안전 산업의 발전에 한 축을 담당했다. 원자력발전소, 군사령부, 마사회, 대기업 등 주요 기관의 소방안전 점검 및 공사 업무를 수행하며 현장에서 선도기업의 경쟁력을 발휘했다.
“우리는 긴급출동 서비스, 24시간 대기 서비스, 원스톱 서비스 등의 신속한 서비스 노하우를 통해 소방점검과 관리 측면에서 업계의 표준을 제시했습니다.”
진영배 본부장은 자사의 경쟁력을 기반으로 안전을 국민의식화하기 위해 교육용 소화기를 만들어 전국민 대상 소방재단 대비 안전교육 서비스 기반을 만들기도 했다.

업계 선도기업으로서 현재 한국유닉스는 다양한 안전관리 재해대비 상품을 출시하고 있다. 대표적인 상품이 방독면인데, 그 수요에 대한 진영배 본부장의 설명이다.
“조경태 의원이 “방독면을 전국민에게 보급하자”고 발의를 했습니다. 화재 시 인명사고는 대부분 질식사입니다. 전국민들에게 1개의 방독면을 보급할 수 있도록 3만원 가격대의 보급형을 개발했습니다. 현재 개발되어 인증단계에 있는데, 내년이면 방독면 보급사업에 임할 수 있을 것으로 기대합니다.”
한국 유닉스가 자랑스럽게 추천하는 재난대비품은 지난 2016년 개발한 생존배낭이다. 백팩 같은 가방에 항상 방독면을 부착하는 가운데 일상적으로 사용할 수 있는 생존배낭은 현재 KS 인증을 준비하고 있다.
세계 최초로 생존배낭을 개발한 진영배 본부장은 제품의 사용성에 대해 부연 설명했다.
“평소 소지품 용으로 사용할 수 있는 생존배낭에는 위기 시에 필요한 재난식품을 넣어 다닐 수 있습니다. 우리가 개발한 재난식품은 고단백 곤충 가루를 3년 유통기간으로 밀봉을 했습니다. 이 곤충가루는 재난식품이나 적십자구호식품으로 사용할 수도 있습니다. 현재 수입품을 사용하고 있어 국산 대체제품으로 시장에서 기대가 되는 상품입니다.”
화재보험 회사에서 손해사정 업무를 하면서 재난과 위기에 선제적으로 대응할 수 있는 시스템과 상품이 필요함을 절실히 느낀 진영배 본부장은 업계의 필요성을 절감하고 창업에 나선 엔터프리뉴어다. 안전산업 부문의 선도기업이 되기 위해 연구개발에 지속적인 투자를 해온 진영배 본부장은 10년의 목표를 세우고 업계의 표준을 제시하는 제품과 서비스를 개발해 출시했다.

Safety management and disaster preparedness, survival backpack, disaster food development, coming soon
As an industry leader, Unix Korea is launching a variety of safety management disaster preparedness products. A typical product is a gas mask, which is explained by Mr. Jin Young-bae, director of the demand.
“Assemblyman Mr. Cho Kyungtae initiated “the supply of gas masks to all citizens”. Personnel accidents are mostly suffocation in the event of a fire. We developed an entry type of 30,000won price so that one can supply one gas mask to all the people. It is currently being developed and is in the certification phase, and I hope that next year I will be able to work on the gas mask supply business.”
Korean Unix proudly recommends disaster preparedness is a survival suitcase developed in 2016. The surviving backpack, which can be routinely used while attaching gas masks to bags like backpacks, is now preparing for KS certification.
Mr. Jin Young-bae, who developed the world’s first living knapsack, explained the usability of the product.
“A survival backpack that you can use for your usual belongings can carry the disaster food you need during a crisis. The disaster food we developed sealed high-protein insect powder with a three-year shelf life. This insect powder can also be used as disaster food or Red Cross relief food. We are currently using imports, so it is a commodity that is expected in the market as a substitute for domestic products.”
